Preferred Group was founded by Emad Ghobrial – an industry pioneer and master of savvy, sophistication and discretion. Identifying the need for an exclusive world-class concierge program catering to high net worth individuals, royals and dignitaries, Mr. Ghobrial founded "Emad Ghobrial Private Concierge" in 1999. This membership based service was later referred to as “The Preferred Circle” and by Spring of 2002 developed into Preferred Group.

Mr. Ghobrial, representing the true essence of an elite concierge, has built an extensive network of resources that spans across the globe. His illustrious background at top hotels has established Preferred Group's peerless standard of service. He began his career in 1988 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach, California as a concierge. From 1993 to 2000, he served as a concierge at the world-class Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Here he developed and implemented the "Peninsula Hotel Global Concierge Service" - a membership program widely patronized by Peninsula's most famous celebrities and ultra elite clientele.
